Radisson Blu GHR hotel, Rome

We had a very good time in this hotel. The staff is polite and welcoming, the room service is always available. Our room was clean, there was a mini bar and some complimentary snacks. The breakfast has a great veriety of food, we enjoyed especially the fresh fruit, smoothies, nuts, and sweets like cakes and croissants. The location is also good, it's just a little outside the main centre, there are many buses going all the time and a metro just below the hotel. If you want to walk to the centre it will take 30 to 40 minutes.

Upon check out I was surprised with a €60 city tax charge from my wife’s reservation here in December. We were not informed of this when we checked out in December and I was not informed of this when I checked in for this reservation; it took me by surprise completely. Sandro and Alessandro were fairly antagonistic in their response toward the issue and when I complained that this is something that should’ve been resolved in December with the previous reservation they simply said “what difference does it make?” before claiming that it was my fault for not checking out correctly. I know I went directly to the front desk to check out personally because that’s when I got a different surprise charge of an extra €30 per night for my wife. I was not informed of that either upon check in in December, but at least that was resolved then and not held over for the following reservation. After a few minutes of heated back and forth neither seemed to understand why I was frustrated that this extra charge came out of nowhere and blindsided me. This Radisson is not upfront and completely transparent about extra charges added to bookings.

The rooms were clean. Lots of stairs that are unavoidable throughout property. Breakfast was good with many selections. They failed us with our confirmed airport pick up- told me it was misunderstanding and to take a taxi. Stood in taxi line for over 2 hours. Not fun after traveling for 24 hours. The staff at front desk were friendly and helpful. All in all it was a nice stay but price was high for this property.

Disgraceful. It was evening when I checked into a room that was not cleaned after the previous guests left. I reported it to the reception, who dismissed me by saying their job is welcoming guests and not cleaning rooms, so I was told I had to sleep in dirty sheets and use dirty towels because there were no other rooms available (however going onto their website you could book a room for that night so there were rooms available!). Poor service, extremely low level of cleanliness and staff unwilling to work.

We LOVED this place! The rooms were nice and clean and big. The lobby is beautiful and the breakfast was great. We also enjoyed the staff as well! We wanted to highlight one person specifically who made our stay so comfortable and that was Patrick! He met all our needs and have us the best recommendations and we could not thank him enough! Everyone at the front desk was so helpful and so professional. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!!! They also did a cute birthday surprise at my husbands request and we will be staying again with them!

Hotel was very clean and staff were always very helpful with whatever we needed. Breakfast was the best part as there was so much to choose from and one long table all of sweets and pastries. All the staff were extremely nice and every hour they have a free shuttle bus that takes you to the Spanish steps. Rooms are clean and all amenities are provided. The hotel restaurant is very nice with a beautiful view and there is a supermarket also very close by if you choose to buy food and snacks. I would recommend this hotel.

We stayed here one night. It seems to be a very busy hotel. We asked for early check-in, but they said they couldn't. Too many people checking out. When we got in our room there was a little lizard in there. They came and got it out right away. Overall, it was a nice room. The elevator was a little tight. I would stay there again if I was staying in the area.
